Roundtables and Panel Discussions generally involve 3 or 4 individuals and a moderator who poses questions to which panelists respond, but do not require prepared papers. Speakers’ times are flexible, but the panel discussion should total 90 minutes, including audience discussion time. Organizer should submit one abstract of no more than 300 words.

Panel title
Panel abstract (300 words or less)
Bios of organizer and participants (100 words or less per person)

Submissions are open to all TSA members. If you are not currently a member, please visit www.textilesocietyofamerica.org/membership to join before completing your application. The organizer is responsible for making sure that all panelists are current members. 

Proposals from all textile-related disciplines and interdisciplinary areas are welcome, including but not limited to anthropology, archaeology, art, conservation, geography, design, economics, ethnic studies, history, linguistics, marketing, material culture studies, mathematics, science, political science, sociology, and theater, among others. We encourage the global participation of scholars, researchers, artists, curators, museum professionals, students, and others.
